My name is Taryn and I'm 22 years old. My journey with crystals originally started with my love for nature. When I was little my amazing mother signed me up to be apart of Scouts Canada. Hiking, camping, and learning survival skills became a huge part of my life for over 10 years. When I came home from camp I would always have rocks in my pockets. Now I have rocks in my pockets but I'm just older.

In 2020 I found CrystalTok on my "for you page" on TikTok and my life literally changed. I started to collect more and more crystals from local and online shops, but I began to go find some in nature. I reconnected myself to my inner child and healed with nature. Around 2021 I went through a lot of trauma and started to think I could never really be healed from the darkness. There was hope, My moms business had become successful and it gave me an idea. I loved the idea of having my own business and saw on TikTok that some people opened a crystal shop of their own. I planned and planned...and planned. 

One year went by and I finally got the courage to start. I ordered from my wholesaler and created my website, then I created my TikTok account and eventually got 100 followers. That was so amazing to see that others were joining my adventure. Now I'm just over 1000 and I've only been open for a year and few months and could not be happier. My business has really shown me that I am courageous and I can do anything if I only dreamed. 

I live with my beautiful Scottish Fold Ash, and we couldn’t be more happier. My mental heath is honestly much better from a few years ago and I'm in my healing era. My hobbies are reading, going to the gym, cooking, drawing/painting, and obviously CRYSTALS! Anyway I thought I would have a section on my website that tells you a little bit about my story and who I am. Thank you if you read this far and thank you for being apart of my adventure.
